This game is so much fun! I love the characters, and the game has some really good comedy.
Aw I love this game! It's so genuinely funny (I have ZERO shame admitting that I cried over the dialogue between Theodore and Aciote) and I LOVE the premise, really well written!!
I'm a little lost on how to romance mah boy Therdeo tho :( where do I put my energy? I keep selecting to just keep talking to him after week 38, but that doesn't seem to be enough.
I'll probably figure out a way eventually, but thought it was worth asking.
That being said, FANTASTIC game! Loved it!

Para vencer a Chtulhu, necesitas tener 'La Orden Divina' == 100 y tener >15 (¿o 12? no recuerdo que hubo cambios de balance) en potencia+súbditos (un 'holgazanear' da una potencia, un 'invocar súbditos' da 3 súbditos).

To beat Chtulhu, you need to have 'The Divine Order' == 100 and have >15 (or 12? I don't remember there were balance changes) in potence+minions (one 'lazing around' gives one potence, one 'summon minions' gives 3 minions).

Well, from what we are putting together at the moment (its still in very early stages!) Its a game similar to that of Thats Not My Neighbor, and Papers Please. You are playing as a guard at... somewhere?? (still working on the finer details there, game is still in demo stages), and have to attempt to stop the fake people from getting in, and let the real people in. Then at night the mimics come back and attack again- thats all we really have figured out right now. We would like to include Acoite (we'd call him Acat because its not exactly him) as one of the people living... wherever you work. We also have a few mimic forms of him, if you'd like to see those? (we would share those through email though)
so are you okay with us including him in this project? :)

You can do it if your project is non-commercial (i.e. not a paid game) and that you credit us somewhere in your game (just a line 'the character X is a reference to Y' or smth is enough).

This is by far the best visual novel I've ever played. the writing was witty and charming, the characters were interesting and so fun to watch interact, and the story was adorable and well paced.

i just wanted to say that i'm sosososo obsessed with this game. it's so sad how there's not a ''fandom'' yet but i am so close to writing and drawing for them!!!!! god the art is just so beautiful, it's so introspective and philosophical, but also downright adorable? and the actual gameplay is really smooth and comfortable. lovelovelove theo, acoite and death to bits -- their design, dialogue, character and chemistry! could rant for ages. all in all, thank you so much for producing such a perfect game, and i will defs be buying when the extended vers. releases!! thank you !! 🤍🤍

you need divine order == 100 and potence + minions > 10 and choose "From the knowledge of the divine" to beat cthulhu; you get 1 potence point for lazing around once and 3 minions for every minion summon
alternatively you can have the abyss == 100 and potence + minions > 10 and choose "From the unknowability of the abysmal"; this, however, locks you out of the true end
Good but, I actually needed the skip button for the seen text to get all endings. It takes a lot of days to finish it. I only got 1 ending cause i feel bored to read it but it's great visual novel.

After getting my ass handed to me most brutally by Cthulhu like, twice, I finally managed to proceed-
Lost my humanity by having too low soul navigation and failing to save that student- Reloaded-
And got the true end!!!! I don't think I've been this excited over getting a true end in a long while! Honestly, you made such a charming game, I'd love to see more of it whether in terms of the same universe or whatever, I'm in love with the way you write and create atmospheres and character interactions, just, everything! Thank you for this joyful experience, my happiness is immeasurable (that i finished at...2am??? why am i even on the PC at this time...???)
I really enjoyed it! One feature I think would really improve the experience is letting the player know what the stat checks are if they fail something. It would make it easier to unlock new endings, and gives players some immediate direction in how they can avoid certain game overs. I look forward to playing the extended edition!

I've only gotten 3 endings (including the true ending! It was super cute!!) so I'm not sure if it was explicitly said in one of the routes

Yes, Theo never explicitly prayed to Acoite. The reason Theo summoned Acoite in the first place was his own trial by the Divine Order: as a candidate for the god of clarity, he needed to prove that he's not... influenced by cognitive biases. So, he never acts on the desire of keeping desiring and on the yearning for something that was never real in the first place; that's why the player can fail his ascension requirements by explicitly using Acoite's powers on his mind and mess up with his mind and perception.
A small detail but you can notice Theo's not influenced by nostalgia when Acoite asks him what he'd like to do or what are his favorite places - even though he loves France, his home country, and old videogames, he wants to travel to East Asia and he quickly finds new favorite places across town, too.
That's why the True End is this: their relationship properly works if they like each other as individuals, and can't influence each other using divine powers (because otherwise..... there's some unspoken power imbalance, y'know!).
(fun fact, it's never said in-text but I thought the events of the game happen... in some fictional version of Seattle).

helpmhm, that's the thing - he wasn't aware of it but because of the way he is, he acted in accordance to the requirements (well, he acted like he is, sort of in a blind test way - the doylist reason for that is because I wanted him to).
and we... never thought about running a Discord server, to be honest because we never expected people to be interested much? but if there's an interest, we can certainly try to!
Hopefully the extended version goes well! (praying on it, ppl absolutely need to know about this game)

Ah I love this game so much xD I have troubles getting the true ending but I really enjoy playing it every time! I only have gotten 4/17 nd has gotten mercy nd mortality as my first! this really fun. initial plan is 10 USD for the game and smth like 20 USD for a deluxe edition (with bonus artbook and stuff) + we hope to be able to offer physical merch for extra price but it's not confirmed yet!
P. S. Steam offers recommended regional prices so it's gonna be ~25% cheaper in pesos than in US dollars if your Steam account is not registered as NA/EU since ugh NA/EU are, of course, the most expensive regions
